Topic: Can We Teach an AI to Speak Fluent Cybersecurity

How do you know if your AI really understands cybersecurity? Too many compliance tools claim that they use AI for text processing but fail to deliver on their promises. Can we really give an AI a CISSP? Can we trust AI with our cybersecurity? Yes, AI is useful and valuable, but it won’t fix everything. We need to be clear about what AI can and cannot do. One thing we can say for sure (well, pretty sure) – AI will never replace the human element of cybersecurity. Is the future of cybersecurity people being replaced by AI?This presentation will delve into the three elements to AI that need to be explored:

  • Business systems are using AI; What are the implications to your cybersecurity defenses?
  • AI is being used by attackers too!
  • The market is filled with companies, platforms and tools that all have AI, ML, and other terms sprinkled throughout their marketing literature – but what does it all mean?

We will explore how smart (or dumb) are AIs in cybersecurity in today’s AI-centric world.
