Through her unusual background, Anne has developed a deep appreciation for the value of conveying complicated messages in plain language quickly, clearly, and accurately across all platforms, to include traditional and emerging media. She will discuss how she’s applied lessons from her national television experience to handling crisis communications; securing positive, proactive press; and building enduring relationships with journalists, partners, and stakeholders. Anne will explain the critical importance of communication in the ever-expanding field of cybersecurity with real-world examples, including the Shields Up campaign at the onset of the war in Ukraine and the unprecedented response to the Apache Log4J vulnerability.
